What’s the best online store (or brand) for Hawaiian shirts? Or in store.

Amazon. You can find them under $10 easily. They're going to be super thin so don't expect much.

I have made Hawaiian shirts but both Hancock and the other fabric store are now gone. Mine lasted ten years on my husband.
The ones he ordered through Amazon last two to three years. We try to make sure they are 100% cotton and the patterns aren't too garish.

Joann had some of the best coupons and I miss 99 cent pattern day at Hancock

is there a hobby lobby close by?

Michael’s sells fabric online. Also, some of the Walmarts still have fabric
