Check Engine Light Question - Inspection timing

I have a 2013 Silverado and it has had an periodic check engine light issue. I scanned and came up with P0442. I was about to change the vapor canister out because it has also had trouble fueling from empty during the first 3 gallons. Obviously some sort of venting issue. I also had a loose connection on my passenger airbag. Fixed and reset the codes early last week. The check engine came back on within an hour.
Fast forward a week and while waiting on the part to arrive, the check engine light went off naturally.
Is there a period of time I need to wait before getting an inspection sticker?

Are you seriously asking if you need to self-impose a time limit before paying the yearly state extortion tax on your property?
Go get it while the getting is good.

What I'm asking is because I hard reset the codes last week, but the check engine light naturally went off this week. Will I pass inspection, or will it flag a code reset without enough time/miles?

Have been told by inspection station it takes 40-50 miles after you clear it

Drive it maybe 100 miles or a week and cross your fingers it doesn't come back on. Then go get your inspection.

Rest the code and drive straight to Benny's. They do not look as to when any codes were reset. Most pollution codes take two drive cycles to show up. I'd even maybe clear the code while waiting in line.

I moved to LA from MS and I tried to get an inspection sticker and they told me my front tent(tint) was too dark. What are my options?
Ok edited. But seriously.

I've probably clocked 75 miles over the past 3 days and the check engine light has not returned on. That's with 3-4 start and drive cycles daily.
When I cleared the codes last week, the seatbelt stayed off but the check engine came back on quickly. Now that it naturally went off, I was curious if that was "enough" on it's own of if more time was necessary.

I thin you're good man. Go to a high volume place for the sticker

If the light cleared itself ,the computer is telling you that the error is gone.

I've never had anyone check anything other than lights and window tint, and horn when I get inspection stickers. I've been driving for nearly 30 years.

Where do they check for engine lights for an inspection sticker? I've never had anything other than blinkers, wipers, tint, cracked windshield and periodically tire tread checked.

Do you live in Lafayette? No one checks for check engine light that I know of, and they certainly aren't checking for codes.

Where do you live that they actually check that?

I live in Ascension parish. 5 parish area checks emmisions and that includes code scanning/check engine light issues.
Which vehicles in Louisiana are required to undergo an emissions inspection?
Vehicles subject to emission testing are model years 1980 or newer gasoline fueled passenger
cars and gasoline fueled light and heavy-duty trucks with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of
10,000 pounds or less, which are registered in the 5-parish Baton Rouge ozone non-attainment
area (Ascension, East Baton Rouge, Iberville, Livingston, and West Baton Rouge parishes). These
tests include the visual anti-tampering, gas cap integrity, and on-board diagnostics (OBDII).
Approximately 470,000 vehicles are subject to emissions testing in the Baton Rouge area.

It isn't self imposed AND it isn't a time limit. It's based on miles driven since the last reset. I've heard various numbers, but the most common is around 75 miles.
