I just got a shipment of La Perla Habana cigars.
The 1515's and the Cazadores.
Anyone know these cigars?

Are they as good as Swisher Sweets?

I thought this thread was going to be about expensive lingerie, complete with pictures. I has disappoint.

While I have appreciated the wonderful responses thus far, I thought I'd bump it just to see if there might be others.

I have never had one of theirs. Care to offer a review once you have smoked one?

Will do.
I've seen them on the shelves in actual cigar establishments, so I thought they would at lease be ok for fishing enjoyment.
I got them from CI. Cheap.

The important thing is what YOU think about them.

Of course. And I am sure I will be fine with them. I am not overly picky when it comes to inexpensive stogies.
But since a message board is for discussion, I thought I'd ask.

So where do you guys get these cigars? I've been debating buying some of the Rocky Patels being discussed but they are expensive as hell retail

All the online stores have great deals. I use Cigarsinternational.com Pretty often. I normally get a large sampler pack. I have a 100 stick humidor so I can buy 80 at a time and just age as I want.
I see a Rocky Patel Essential Mega-Sampler (20 cigars for $60) that seems like a good deal if you don't know what kind of Rocky Patels you like...

Same for me. I've found it to be the best prices, widest selection and best sampler specials.
My La Perla's I just got came with
15 1515's and 20 Cazadores for $80 total.
That's why I figured I couldn't go too wrong with these.

Funny enough I just received an email from Famous Smoke Shop (another online cigar retailer)...
If it doesn't show up they have a 10 Rocky Patel Rosado Robusto deal 10 for $30

JCorye1, this might be a good one to try.

LaPerlas are decent every day cigars. I keep a few around. Nothing special, but a good smoke

That was what I was hoping for when I bought them. Something you can enjoy at a price point you can light it up without having to have a "reason"

Just tried the Cazadores.
Disappointing. A bit harsh. Not particularly aromatic. Flavor is pretty bad too

Update:
The 1515's are disappointing too. Better than the Cazadores, but only slightly.
They will be "sitting on the marsh with a beer and smoke about half of it" type of cigars.
For cheap, I have not found better than Cuban Rounds.
