I want to start smoking a cigar occasionally. What is your favorite cigar? Taste, quality, price. Again, just a beginner.

Camacho Connecticut was my first cigar. Very smooth for a good 45 minutes smoke. Cost about $9.
Not gonna lie, the Acid brand cigars are fun and flavorful. Go for under $8
Rocky Patel Java Latte tastes good as well. Around $10.

I think a Macanudo Hampton Court is a good beginner cigar.

Drew Estate The Tabak Especial tastes like coffee with a bit chocolate. Very smooth and tasty for a beginner. Fairly cheap as well.

I'd recommend starting with Punch or 5 Vegas Classic brands. Entry level but still a premium cigar. My goto is La Gloria Cubana Serie R. If you're into infusion (4-letter word), I love the Drew Estate Tabak Especials for a little coffee flavor. If you want to test your limits, try a La Joya de Nicaragua Antano Dark Carojo.
I'm sure RedPop4 will be along to properly educate you.

Avo Syncro Nicaragua.
Smooth, medium, with great taste.

As stated, the Acid brand isn’t bad for trying to get into it. I liken it to someone drinking Wild Turkey American Honey that is trying to acclimate to enjoying bourbon straight.
I hate an Acid cigar now. Like I hate wild Turkey honey. Cant stand the sweetness. But I won’t ever judge someone for smoking one cause they got me into the game. When I was new to it I loved them. If you’re trying to get a taste for it, I’d honestly recommend Acids or Del Sol to ease into it.
Otherwise, a lot of rocky Patel can be had for under $10. Gran Habano Connecticut is a nice cheap stick. CAO brands. Diesel I have enjoyed recently at around $9-$11.

I’ve enjoyed just about every drew estate offering I’ve tried, acid, tabak especial, java, etc. Even their non-flavored cigars were good.

There’s a very good thread on the Food and Drink board if you want to check that out.
My Father La Opulencia is one of my all time favorite cigars. I keep that one and a hand full of other My Father cigars in my humidor at all times. I think your best bet is to check out some of the sampler packs available from Perdomo, Rocky Patel, La Aroma de Cuba, and a few others I’ve seen. Can’t go wrong with the three I mentioned. That way you don’t have to worry about setting up a humidor to keep cigars. The bags they come in act as a humidor. Just keep them out of direct sunlight and you’re good to go.

A. Fuente or Leon Jimenes if you’re a newb. Gran Habano Connecticut #1 if you like a mild cigar. Perdomo Champagne is a good one too.
Jimenes is like smoking air it’s so mild. Great if you want a morning cigar. Fuente is good at
Just about any time. Chateau Fuente is my suggestion for that.

Get the Rocky Patel The Edge 4 pack sampler and try the different ones out and see which type you like.

Start out with Connecticut wraps. They're easy to smoke and don't wreck a non smokers mouth.
