I live in Denham Springs and I’m looking for ballroom dance lessons for my wife and I. Does anyone have a studio or teacher that they would recommend that’s in the Baton Rouge area?

Reminds me. One spring break I took my 15 year old daughter and 2 of her friends to Baton Rouge to cajun dance. (It was just a small part of the trip). I found this place that cajun danced on the web. They were the three prettiest girls in this dance hall. The first guy that came up was a skinny, not-good-looking guy about 13 year old and asked my daughter if she would dance. For about 5 seconds I was really worried she'd hurt his feelings (even though I had never seen her act that way). She turned around and looked up at him and said, "Well SURE!" One of my proudest moments at a dad. They had a blast.

We did tc dance international. We had a pleasant experience for the most part, but we had paid for 8 sessions I think and literally the last 2 were just sales pitches and “review” sessions. They want you to sign up for the bigger packages, but In the 6-7 legit classes we learned a lot of the basics of 2 step, swing, waltz, etc. it was fun. We’d probably do Rick seeling if we did it again tho.

Ric Seeling is the only answer.

The first 90% of this was very awkward to read…

I hate dancing and will go out of my way to never do it again, but my wife and I took salsa lessons at Courtney Black's studio in secret to surprise everyone at our wedding. I still hate it, but I learned a salsa dance for my wedding, so it obviously worked.

Me and the wife did lessons with Ric. The guy is definitely a character. The amount of times I heard him say, “Come on man, I’m Ric freaking Seeling.” Big personality.
