I went to the Crazzie Cabbie vs Stuttering John fight in Atlantic City. That's me behind Buffer.

That show is a shell of its former self, and this is just another reminder to me how far he's fallen

Stern has gone completely nuts. I mean he was kind of funny at one time but a little whacky (and to be fair, this was when he was on TV, which I didn't watch religiously so I don't know how he has evolved from that period), now he has gone completely insane.. But he is 70 and there are people who start losing it around that age (a lot of people lose it earlier, i am just saying he at an age where him going completely nuts is possible).
The most interesting thing I have heard from his show is the guy who called in who said he was from New Orleans, claimed to be a serial killer and that one person he killed put a spot light on a NOPD officer. He said some shite that linked up to the point there was a good chance he was serious, but year.. To me, thats the most interesting thing to come from his show.

Gonna be a sad day when Ronnie the Limo Driver dies. He’s getting up there and his heart probably can’t take many more tantrums.

I thought he had retired... at least that was his plan when I stopped listening in 2021.
I looked him up and it lists him as 5'2"! All those years listening to the show I never heard them mention he was that short!

He had his wedding in Las Vegas on the weekend after the Hamas attacks on Israel.
It will be interesting to hear how Howard handles Cabbie’s death. Cabbie’s most famous bit on the show was the fight with Stuttering John but any reference to John has been stricken from the show. John sued Sirius for compensation when he appeared on Best Of shows. He lost the case and has been ostracized.
SJ has a couple of podcasts but is descending into an alcohol-fueled madness because several podcasts are dedicated to highlighting what a despicable person he is. He lucked into gigs with 2 of the most popular programs on radio and tv (Stern & Tonight Show) and now is an alcoholic who lives alone in a 500 sq ft apartment paid for by his Writers’ Guild pension.
Cabbie was always an open book on air and has been very sick for a while. RIP Cabbie!

Cabbie was fun on the show. His boxing matches, gay sex stories, military stories, his tax evasion prison sentence, his lawsuit against the show, being adopted/finding his birth mom, and his relapses/psychosis. Like everything else his Cabbie’s life: he fricked it up when he shot a porn in the studio
This was mostly around 2001. Post Jackie and pre Sirius era, still an enjoyable era of the show. Cabbie has some appearances the greatest Stern shows of all time: 9/11/2002 and 9/12/2001. Amazing moments in broadcast history
Time was not kind to Cabbie. He had Gulf War syndrome and Guillain–Barré syndrome. He had been in a wheelchair for the last few years

There’s no way he’s 5’2”. I saw a video of him and Stephanie putting up Christmas lights, he’s no shorter than 5’8”. That sounds like someone is trolling him. Kind of like that app the guy brought in that judges people’s looks and gave him a 1 out of 10.

Howard Stern has transformed into Stephen Colbert with goofy hair.

Howard was the reason I got a lifetime subscription to Sirius back in the early 2000's. I gave up on him back around 2016-17. After he married Beth, he sold out to the Hollywood crowd.
