Daylight standard time sucks

When are they going to change this..
Setting the clocks back in fall makes the sun set at 5pm.
Losing that hour of sunlight results in 9-5 workers spend every weekday either inside or in the dark, while watching the sun rise and set while they’re at work.

No daylight savings is awesome. It’s when we go back to regular time like now that it sucks.

This is standard time. It would all be fine if everything stayed the same all year.

Hate it with a passion. Especially with kids.

The sunrise here is about 6:15 am right now.

So get your arse up at 6am and go do what you would normally do at 6pm

Yep, right about the time a cardinal starts tapping on my window
It’s about to drive me nuts

As a morning person, the solution to this is to make everyone and every business start the day at 6:00 am instead of 8:00 am.
Problem solved.

Oky, are most stores typically open at 6am ?

And hanging out with the family outside for an hour at 6am is totally the same as when everyone has been at school/work all day needing some fresh air at 6pm..

So you actually like daylight saving time?

You do realize the daylight gets shorter as the season progresses, regardless of what we do with the clock?

Same. The problem is that we only have about 10.5 hrs of daylight this time of the year, but it doesn't last that long. The days will start getting longer in late December.

Yeah. I don’t mind getting off work when it’s dark. Just makes it more acceptable to start drinking.
Conversely it does suck waking up at 6am, going through your morning routine, commuting work, getting to office, and the sun still hasn’t risen yet.
And the sun shining bright and 90°+ sucks at 8:30pm in summer when trying to have a drink on the porch.

I think there are a lot of people out there who don’t realize this.

Let me just adjust the tilt of our planet, and I'll get back to you.

In the winter you can have daylight in the mornings or in the evening, but you can’t have both. By late December you don’t get much of either.
