You have to contacted to be interviewed before a warrant is issued for your arrest?
Thats interesting.
Thats interesting.

My client learned late last night of a warrant, despite not being contacted to be interviewed prior to investigators obtaining the warrant.

Moving forward all LEOs need to contact a suspect first and let them know that a warrant has been issued for their arrest. The suspect will then submit a valid pinky swear via email that promises they will not flee. We don’t want to surprise or upset anyone who has broken the law guys.

Her attorney is very polished. He finds loopholes.
This I know for sure.

DeRidder rich. It’s all relative.

Adam Johnson once got a guy off after that guy walked into Sunday service and shot the pastor with a shotgun, killing him.
I thought that was Todd Clemons. At least that's what my black coworkers said.
Who has the highest retainer for criminal defense lawyers in Calcasieu?
I had a buddy used Vamvoras for DWI and he said he was expensive.

Was the guy with the shotgun 16?
If so, she might do that too.

It leads me to ask who hes related to that can keep making these opportunities just appear.
He is the grandson of Joseph Yenni, a former Jefferson Parish President and mayor of Kenner, who has multiple buildings in Jefferson Parish named after him, including a building that houses the registrar of voters, among many other parish government offices. His father, Michael Yenni, was Jefferson parish president after his grandfather. You’re looking at third generation nepotism in action.

It’s sad that we think we are so much better than people 1000 years ago who were ruled by kings, yet very often power in our society is still inherited. Look at all the people who couldn’t wait to vote for another Clinton or Bush or who are praying for Big Mike to save them from Kamala and Trump. It’s worse with local politics and Louisiana is probably worst of all. I don’t know if it’s an evolutionary thing we have trouble turning off, or if people just don’t pay attention or care enough to do something about it.
Anyway, I’m done waxing philosophical about politics. Let’s get back to the semi-hot mayor sex scandal!
Edit: As noted by White Roach, Mike Yenni is Michael Yenni’s nephew, not his son.

I don't think Mike Yenni was Michael Yenni's son. I believe he was a nephew or cousin or something.
I remember Yenni's widow and family making a stink over this guy changing his name to Mike Yenni. But he was Joe Yenni's grandson or adopted grandson.

You’re right, my mistake. Mike Yenni is Michael Yenni’s nephew, not his son. That’s what I get for not reading the article I posted… but still 3rd generation nepotism.

She was arrested by the State Police?
What judge set the bail?
They didnt contact her beforehand but she was able to get bail set and bond out in 45 minutes? Come on now.

Other kids noticed one of the kids missing and they went looking for him. Started recording them because the blinds to the room were open.
I know a guy whose mom banged some of her son's friends. They were 18 at the time but it still embarrassed the hell out of the son. So much so that he moved out of state and cut ties with her. He missed over a decade of talking to her until she was dying because of how angry and embarrassed he was. It wasn't all over the news like this story is and social media didn't exist then. It was just small-town talk but still hurt him deeply.
The article linked the other day said Misty's son is 14. I can't imaging how mad, confused, and hurt he is. I truly feel bad for him. I didn't see how old the daughter is but I imagine she will need therapy too.
Even if the dad gets full custody due to this I doubt he moves them out of DeRidder. His family, friends, and business are all in DeRidder. He took over his parent's Allstate agency and they have a lot of clients and are well known. It would be pretty hard for him to leave town with his kids to allow them to start a new life somewhere else. That means these kids are stuck in DeRidder where everyone knows their mom the former mayor is a pedo.
What a sad situation and life ahead for those kids.

Which is why this thread should be whacked or anchored. Enough of this.
