I don't get it and am seemingly the only one. Monday brain.
Guess: Slope of roof Trump shooter was on was deemed to dangerous to get on?

$3K isnt crazy money if you travel all the time, especially if you can't/ don't want to use your CC for whatever reason.
Exactly.. I dunno why jizzle is getting worked up and personally offended by the amount of cash another person is carrying.
Strange.

Winner!
Thought it was a pretty funny jab, myself!

Having $3k in cash on you as a routine matter is sort of wild
So many ballers here acting like it’s nothing. The average American can’t afford a $3k emergency, but our director of HOMELAND SECURITY is walking around with it, and has it stolen. The swamp in DC is alive and well.

Her driver's license or ID will end up on eBay and somebody will buy it.

Side note: As a man who grew up with an inseparable wallet, I am consistently amazed how many women have absolutely no problem leaving their money/credit-cards/ID at a restaurant table with "someone" when they go pee.
Sure, I get they need a purse for the various other items they carry and don't want a cumbersome experience hauling it into a stall while they squat. I also get why they wouldn't a wallet-sized bulge on their right arse-cheek in their form-fitting tight jeans.
Still, it's unfathomable for me, as a man, to imagine myself getting up from a table at a restaurant, pulling out my wallet with my cash, cards & ID and throwing it on the table and saying, "Watch this for me while I go pee." I wouldn't even want family or friends to be responsible for that. One distraction & I'm fricked.

I mean, she's a woman...

You made one of my points for me... maybe she was coming from or going to her bank.. in which case, cash on hand isn't "stupid" but is what happens when you're doing some banking. Is she supposed to teleport it?
Shes in Washington D.C. not at home.
If you are implying she was picking up some cash in D.C. we might have other issues to address.

Good grief, I didnt realize 3K was generational wealth.

And all these theories are pretty retarded. She travels all over the place. Having extra money on you is standard.
Scruffy takes at minimum $1000 in cash when he travels and he isn’t the head of DHS.
Occam’s Razor. You guys are dumb.

The old school OT board would be embarrassed by these posters.

But why?
I'm sure her bank has more than one branch... so the home vs DC is a non point. Maybe she likes to tip cash, a lot of people do. Maybe she wanted to purchase something privately, like booze or condoms or who cares?
Are you really concerned with people that carry cash? To the point of saying they DESERVE to be robbed of it?
I just don't get the rabidness of your stance in this thread.

You can only bank at your home branch.

Medication ? She looks healthy
Apartment keys - must be really nice or a condo, right?

Everyone is glossing over this being in her bag. The $3000 is weird but I know people who like to have large amounts of cash on them at all times, but who is routinely carrying checks around in 2025?
ETA: Not that it is nefarious or anything, just strange. She doesn't give off boomer still writing check vibes.

I keep $100 in 20s on me most of the time just in case. But $3k is sort of ridiculous for someone in her line of work that doesn't need to buy things in cash a lot.
I do know a woman who is a professional interior designer and she often carries 5-10k in case she sees estate sales/etc. and she can negotiate better deals paying cash. She also carries a firearm and is a lunatic on her 4th husband
