However, a month in advance of Imagineering completing the attraction, Disney’s public relations team decided to release a highly-edited “Full Ride POV” of the attraction on YouTube. This point-of-view video has received more dislikes than likes, with over five thousand comments on the video dissecting the new attraction scene-by-scene

Perhaps the most prominent critique of “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure” thus far is that the story is incoherent. In watching the POV, you would be forgiven for thinking you missed an important plot element or piece of dialogue.

This mess even made its way to Forbes

The DEI team responsible for this garbage is now being tabbed to lead their next big expansion project. Maybe this will wake the idiotic shareholders up who didn’t vote for Peltz.

Do people actually care about the story behind a themed ride? I just want to go down that big arse drop.

Apparently some do since Disney felt compelled to change it.

Can do run of the mill flume rides anywhere. The theming/story is usually what separates Disney from the others.

Biggest issue with the new ride, as Forbes points out, is the empty space inside the ride. The end is the only part that has visual adequacy. There are too many dead spaces.

Rockin' Rollercoaster was probably my favorite ride when I went about 10Y back. I see it's still around, although closed for renovations til.late summer.

Damn that was boring. I could only get through about 5 minutes. Here's how to make it fun:
throw in one Lootie being chased through the swamp by a Rugaroo, who is after his beer. I'm all in on that.

Link to video on YouTube would be awesome but you didn't do that. Enjoy your own downvote.

Yeah, because Louisiana is really known for its beautiful mountains and waterfalls.

I watched it my kids last night and the first thing they pointed out was the lack of a coherent story, no villain. Was just kind of pointless with a ton of fancy animatronics, even that they seemingly whiffed on with the exception of the handful super hi tech ones.

Figure out how to pickpocket every rider, give them the full New Orleans experience. Disney going to take all their money anyway.

Splash mountain had a coherent story throughout with suspenseful parts synced with the drops. This has neither.

We do have Mount Driskill with a whopping 535 feet of elevation and 226 feet of prominence.

Only waterfalls I have seen are man made ones when the levees fail for a hurricane or they open up the spillway for a spring flood event on the Mississippi.

Correct, so they probably shouldnt be creating rides for characters that dont exist.

Not only that, they shouldnt create any ride unless the characters are already wildly popular.
