They have threatened to kill him... That's enough justification in my book. If they steal the car with out saying a word that's one thing. Stealing a car and threatening to kill ... They should then be taken at their word because they obviously have no intent to respect the law...who knows how far they will go. Shoot then

I see your point, and I used to ask the same question.
However, when you look at most of these criminals, they have literally never known anything other than what you see them doing as it all ends for them.
They were born never knowing their father, running the streets unsupervised by the time they are 7-8 years old and idolizing the very people who will precede them in either a life of prison time or an early death.
It is truly sad when you think about the fact that most of them don't have any idea that life can be different than what they were born into.

I’ve got several rifles that will mow them down from the comfort of a cracked window. Unfortunately the law doesn’t allow people to protect their property anymore, especially in California, so I suppose I’d call the cops and sit there like a puss. I’d be more afraid of my government than these thugs.

That’s why you get someone else to swing the door open as a distraction that they hopefully fire first at, while you get behind cover to light them up from a different spot or a window. It is Cali but if they fire first and it’s on video, they are fricked.
