Dude is a longtime reporter for the Fox affiliate in Houston

I didn’t realize he was a BR native and worked for WAFB in the early 90s

I met him and he was super nice. I think can all relate to his situation in that video.

I don’t think you understand why this video is so funny.

I grew up "in the country" and I am sure I had bugs fly in my mouth, but it never happened when I was tired of being in that country arse place.

Why does video from 2009 look like it was shot in 1970?

It’s older than that. He was in Houston by the early 2000’s.

They were still using tape back then.

It's funny because the instant that bug flew up his nose the polished news reporter persona evaporated and the real persona was revealed.

I saw that blooper before ENG went to Betacam. I am pretty sure that was originally shot on 3/4 in the 80's

I don’t know, when I see the video quality watching highlights of Matt Jones and McFadden 20 years ago, I think “damn I’m getting old.”

To be fair, some of it is Jefferson Pilot footage, but still.

Why is the reporter so dark? He looks like the South Sudanese Dinka.

I can totally relate…as a matter of fact I am likely to be acting like that shortly when I cut grass in this heat advisory!

The part that makes it so funny to me is the camera man laughing and trying to keep his composure.
