Duck Commander is being sued by a high-end Napa winery with a simple premise ... if it walks like a duck ... then we own it.
Duckhorn Wine Company claims in a lawsuit -- obtained by TMZ -- its expensive, ultra-premium wine brand -- which goes to nearly $100 a bottle -- is being diluted by Duck Commander's cheap, Walmart line of vino -- which goes for $9.99.

And to add insult to injury, Duckhorn grouses when Duck Commander launched its brand, it threw a drunken, redneck party in hoity-toity Napa ... a stone's throw from Duckhorn's vineyard.

Didn't they have an episode where they actually bought a winery?

The problem with that is any man made laws relying on faulty Scriptural interpretation is placing man right back into the legalism of the Old Covenant.

But many don't and realize this is a mostly American cultural phenomenon and not really based in orthodox Christianity.
This. The American church got in bed with the other prohibitionists during prohibition. When the church and government join up nothing good comes from it. This is why the old times church covenants have prohibitions against consuming and selling alcohol. This is why my Baptist church removed that prohibition a few years ago. It's simply not biblical. Cool fact, Protestant ministers founded the Guinness beer company.

Yep. Church leaders tell their people drinking is a sin. Their people go out and have a glass of wine and go against their conscience. This callouses their conscience against true sins. Unbiblical prohibitions like these are 10 times more dangerous to the soul than a bottle of beer ever will be.

Ok. So I guess a man who has sex with other men willingly isn't a homosexual. Look, I drink but I don't sit around being willingly blind or deceiving myself
Study wine or alcohol in the Bible. There are as many positive mentions of it as there is negative. The Bible draws a line between drinking and being a drunkard. No one is being blind here.

It was fake, like the rest of their show. They pretended to buy Landry Vineyards in West Monroe. Landry is still there and still owned and operated by the Landry family, like it always was. The Landry's got paid to go along with the sham.

The bigger question is how in the frick is this show still going?
