It’s apparently duck season again.
Eight years after the original unscripted series’ finale, A&E has greenlit Duck Dynasty: The Revival with a two-season order of 20 total episodes.
The series is set to premiere this summer, spotlighting Korie and Willie Robertson, along with their adult children and grandchildren, as they live together on their Louisiana homestead.

Original Duck Dynasty front man Phil Robertson, whose Alzheimer’s diagnosis was reported in December, will not appear in the revival. (Phil of course was famously suspended from the series in December 2018, ahead of the Season 4 premiere, for making anti-gay remarks in a GQ profile.)
Miss Kay, Uncle Si and other family members will appear, including John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella and Rebecca and their growing families.

Duck Dynasty originally aired on A&E in 2012, chronicling the lives of the Robertson family and the success of their family-operated business, Duck Commander. It was canceled in 2017 after 11 seasons, but spawned multiple spinoffs including Jep & Jessica: Growing the Dynasty.

First couple seasons were fun TV, the later ones were so scripted and tried way too hard.

Great, wholesome show. Glad it’s back. America needs more shows with good values.

That’s your choice, but here you are commenting in a thread on the show

I'm a big fan, watch The Duck Call Room Podcast weekly.
These are what we, up in North Louisiana, refer to as "Good People".

Trump won. Phil was vindicated

They have already been filming so it won’t be too long before they start airing episodes

My daughter and I were watching season one last night. The early seasons were the best until they became scripted and too much Si

I really have no interest at all in this. Louisiana based reality shows, namely Duck Dynasty and Swamp People, seem to be produced in large part as a tool to give people outside Louisiana a reason to point and laugh at us. Meanwhile, most Louisiana residents eat the shows up.

They'll have to relocate to the midwest. Ain't no ducks here anymore.

I don't see how this show is still on. I really liked the first couple seasons, but then it got hard to watch because the scripting became obvious and overly dramatic.
Narrator: "The 10 foot long, 800 pound monster gator". Meanwhile, the camera just showed one person pulling that supposed 800 lb monster into the boat by themselves without even struggling.
