I bought a couple of polo shirts there in the '80's.

Wrong

If I were any bit insecure, you think I'd have publicly posted it here?

Someone who swings from "the wrong side of the plate" is gay and what side is that?

Left and I'm right.

How much a suite will run you there?

Mostly not. They have $3500 suits (Zegna) and more expensive (Kiton, Brioni and such) but their “house label” suits are $499. They also have several brands between those two price points.

I like the store, but George Bass down the street is more my style and budget.

Rubensteins is the shite and David/Andre are great people and citizens. Suits start around $450 and go all the way up to custom Brioni suits of around $7k. The suit prices are largely dependent on the fabric and designer. The better the fabric the longer it lasts and more crisp it stays. Jos Banks are largely shite fabric and quality which is why they are so cheap. Professionals shop at Rubensteins and guys who shop at Jos Banks are low level employees.
