I always assumed it was the hookers and blow that you enjoy while hot tubbing

It's not? Hot tubs make decks more funner. More secks for old guys and the ticker explodes.

Much more likely associated with the 2 hours of exercise before the hot tub than the actual hot tub. Dud wasn’t exactly fit.

Someone on blood thinners or what not, could stay in a hot tub too long, causing a further drop in blood pressure, and the person faints and drowns.

Your heart has to work harder in a hot tub (or hot weather) to circulate the blood faster in an attempt to regulate the body temperature. Probably not a good thing when you are in his physical condition.

I get dizzy in them. I have lower blood pressure and a lower heart rate; they expand blood vessels dropping pressure.

I get hypotensive in them too. Feel like I'm going to hit the ground sometimes when getting out.

It isn't the hot tub. It is the swinger sex

Yeah, every time for me. Used to have one, could not use it. Kids sure loved it.

Damn, even the organs in your body are lazy. No wonder you're struggling economically.

Only thing I know is that a hot tub makes your heart rate go way up. If you throw a clot (myocardial infarction) while your heart is racing you have to get the heart rate down fast. There is practically no chance of that if you've been in a hot tub...even if you can get out immediately, your heart is going to keep racing for a while.

Anyways, in the past, when I realized I was having a m.i. I became dead weight. Get someone to get me 5 aspirin, water, and become dead weight until ambulance arrives. Saved my life several times.

Aspirin is probably best thing you can do if having an MI while at home waiting on ambulance. Just need to let them know.

I run by heart rate zones and use a monitor. My mile times in the summer are awful, but they steadily decrease as it gets colder. The 15 min mile in July will be an 8 min mile in Dec at the same HR.

You seem way too invested in that thread getting stickied.
