I think it would be silly to think the majority of black males being raised exclusively by women would not affect their sexuality in some way.
A prison guard told me the gay jail stuff is a much bigger issue with the brothers. Most white guys in the system are put off by it while the brothers start fricking each other as soon as they get in there.

I can tell you that there are a TON more blacks on GBT hookup apps/sites in our area than whites.
The reason is the TOPS. There are FAR fewer white married TOPS in the area than Black married TOPS. This may be because of black women not wanting sex as often as their husbands or not giving oral. I'm not sure. I'm just stating indisputable facts based on years of 'hearing from friends' whats on Grindr, Scruff, AFF, Manhunt, and CL.
eta: the stat on Trannies on these apps is literally 99/100 are black in BR-Nola. Not counting CrossDressing. Lots of white dudes wanna throw on panties and stockings. I'm talking full on drag/trannies

the entire concept of the "down low" is that it's social suicide in the AA community to be a gay male
hell, even gay females aren't looked highly upon. a friend once tried to get me to date his younger sister b/c they thought she was gay and they were all supportive of me making an honest (aka, hetero) woman out of her. they assured me even if it went south, they wouldn't hold it against me b/c of how much turning her straight meant to the family

Fact. The stigma in the black community is huge. Looking at the stats the outrage probably has a lot to do with repressing the gay feelings or that black chicks lose their mind if a black guy is gay.

i think it's just b/c of the predominance of the "lower class mentality" in the AA community
part of that mentality is irrational aggression and those sorts of male-centric dominant traits. being gay is seen as the ultimate anti-masculine trait (hence why they're called sissies, historically in the AA community). you get the same sentiments in the trailer park with white trash, but that culture isn't projected as much in society so it's not a meme
