Is anyone currently using the at&t air internet? They sent me the equipment yesterday saying my current router will not be working soon. I'm not so sure what they mean by that and it was my wife that spoke with them. Just curious if anyone has feedback, positive or negative about the service. Fiber isn't available in my neighborhood yet. TIA

Yes, fiber not available in my complex. Have been using it since June. Seems fast enough, never goes out and reasonably priced. No complaints from me

I’ve been using T-mobile home internet for 2 years now and average 50-75 mbps in the day and 200-380 mbps at night when the towers ease up. I’ve been liking it and have no real complaints, especially being only $50. Im sure the at&t version is just as good and maybe even better. I don’t think it’s better than fiber, but I do think it’s better than coaxial.

It’s terrible. Can hardly watch streaming tv or do remote work, if at all. Switching back to Cox at the end of the month.

If you select ATT for any service. I mean, ANY service that you dont absolutely have to ,then you deserve every bad thing that happens to you and I will be here to ridicule you forever.

I agree Spots, but it seems to be the only viable option in my neighborhood right now. I've been with them for over 10 years in this house and of course there have been issues during that time, but without a better option I don't know what else to do. It sucks because both the neighborhoods to the north and south have fiber but not ours. Ours is the oldest neighborhood of those and I think they will have to dig trenches to bury the fiber cables as our neighborhood still has overhead lines. I was concerned about streaming the tv's because without a hard ethernet connection my tv's seem to buffer alot, no matter what streaming serv ice. I solved that with netgear boxes and a hard wire cable to each tv. I have the air pod at the house now and see I can still use the netgear and cables, but still not sure I want to change over from the router

Yeah I live out the boonies and they're all I can get. I got Att 25 mbs and it's slow, but I'm able to stream fine as long as I don't overdo it. They offer att air, but I've heard bad stuff about it not working , so I'm staying with what I got now. Hopefully we get fiber soon.

Second worst

Cox is the worst

And those are my only two options. Unless I go starlink or cellular

This is concerning… are they dropping hardliners that are not fiber?

We don’t have fiber available.

This is what the CS Rep told my wife , but I'm not so sure she knows what she is talking about. The wife did the chatbot troubleshooting ealier in the morning that day and it ran tests and said our equipment was bad. The next day I recieve a new router in the mail from them. Why would they send out a new router if was going obsolete in a few days? So now I have a working router (the original was fine) a brand new router and a new airpod. I was at work when the wife said tv was out but the internet for everything else was working, so I knew the router was fine. When I got home I changed to a different ethernet port on the router and tv's started working fine. I'm going to just hold on to the equipment a few more days and if it keeps working fine I may leave it the way it is. The air is $35 cheaper a month than what I'm currently paying.

I switched from ATT fixed wireless to Air several months back and it is fantastic! Easily the most stable internet I’ve ever used. I live where fiber is not available.

If you have a good 5g signal, the Internet Air should work well.

Thanks for all the replies, we do have a good 5G signal at the house so hopefully it works well. At least 3 times in the last 18 months construction projects in our area have been digging and cut the at&t cable, so we end up with no internet for 2-3 days at a time. Guess won't have to worry about that anymore.
