Good lord. The hatred the fat fricks of the OT have for cyclists is out of control.

All truck bros need to be on the terrorist list and sent to CECOT ASAP.

So instead of calling 911, she called a friend and sent said friend a pin?

From Reddit

quote:

This is some end of Easy Rider bullshite. I shake my head when someone says how hospitable and friendly people are here. Some of the meanest and dumbest on the planet.

Maybe the truest statement I've seen in a while.

There is a difference in actual kindness and acting out of a sense of fear of judgement.

The pure shift in attitude from people when you mention anything against the status quo in this state makes that "southern hospitality" fly right out of the window. As soon as someone here feels like they can belittle you and they will have people on your side, that's what happens. This is especially true when you're cycling/running in a manner in which other people seem to dislike for whatever reason.

But they do to go to Church on Sundays, I'll give them that much.

Not necessarily. Some of the phone and watch technology has features that will alert emergency contacts if a fall or crash is detected during a workout.

I reported a motorist who was harassing cyclists in St Gabriel near the Alligator Bayiu/Bayou Paul area about 8 years ago. The police took my report and knew the guy (former cop) and nothing was done.

Send Out an S.O.S. When You Need It Most
Along with being notified by eCrumb technology, your guardians will also be notified in a worst case scenario: when you are in immediate need of help. In the case of the Personal Safety App, that means clicking on the S.O.S. button.

This button is your call for help when you’re most in need. If you’re in a serious emergency, you can reach out to your loved ones by simply opening the app and hitting the S.O.S. button. In a moment’s notice, they will receive verification that you have reached out for help. They will also be notified of the time of your S.O.S. contact as well as your geolocation. With that, they can immediately reach out to help, as well as call local law enforcement and emergency services to guarantee that you are safe.
