Why do companies charge you to return an item?
I ordered a shirt, which came in with the lettering already peeling and a slight tear in the seams.

I messaged the company, and they will refund/exchange the item, but I have to pay to ship the shirt back. Either I pay for the postage of the shirt, or they take the shipping out of the refund.

bullshite. If you're returning an item because you don't want it or like it sure. If it is damaged or not what you ordered you shouldn't pay shite.

Next time read the return policy. Got burned one time at a jewelry store. I could return it but only for store credit. I just bought it the day before. I was pissed but it was there on the receipt i signed. I said you’re losing a customer for good. They didn’t give a frick. The owner lives in a huge house in BR I drive by a lot. Reminds me every damn time.

OP comes with a significant issue, and you offer candy?

Clearly, a low-fat, 1/2 caff, vanilla latte would be the more appropriate response to such a traumatic event.

Threaten to blast them on socials and review sites. They will capitulate.

You forgot the soy milk. Regular milk makes his tum-tum hurt.

Several aftermarket auto parts vendors charge you a "restocking" fee, even if the item they send you is defective.

Total BS but what are ya gonna do
