FREEZING BUBBLES WITH YOUR KIDS/Grandkids/students

If temps are in single digits or teens,, mix up bubble solution (goggle "frozen bubbles solution”…usually dish soap, water, and/or sugar/corn syrup). Chill the mixture in the fridge to give freezing a head start. Find a sheltered outdoor place (block the wind!!!). I use a regular bubble wand or a straw, and place bubbles on snow, on an evergreen branch, I have even used firewood as a base. Sit back and watch the crystals grow as it freezes!

I just went down the rabbit hole on DIY snow makers… not worth it for 24 hours , lol.

Gorgeous! I have taken videos, too.
In an effort to find solutions with different appearing crystals, I once made three solutions, and wrote the recipe on the lids. I took all three outside, tried them all, and immediately mixed up the lids…*note to self: write recipes on the BOTTLE!*
