They do more than just the odds. Mikki Mase makes the rounds taking about things we knew for years

There is this thing in roulette where you play the outside 2-1 columns and rows, then you put $10 on the basket in case of 0/00.
90% to win and you have to avoid like 4 numbers.
Essentially you bet $200 to win $25. Will it fail sometimes? Sure but you would be banking the $25 wins so you can handle the loss. It’s not a bad concept.

As a former gambling addict, there is no way to win.

Here is a link to a NPR podcast about gambling.
They tell the story of a group of card counters who made money on Blackjack. And they tell you how to count cards for blackjack. It’s not too jard but it takes a decent amount of intelligence to count cards and a decent amount of social skills to not get caught counting cards.
The people who could do this did it for a while but stopped because they could all make money in easier ways working jobs that also require those skills.

My brother used to manage a sports book at a casino on the Colorado River in Nevada until William Hill took over all the books. One thing he told me was never bet the under in baseball. Because after a 1/2 inning the score could be over. The other thing he told me was 61% of the games went over.

This is what dana white does until he hits a few hundred thousand then he leaves
He also negotiates number of decks, hand shuffle, and minimum number of hands per shuffle, and player favorable rules on doubling down and when the dealer hits/stands. A quarter million in a house account and a half billion net worth can open a few doors.
Call up Harrah's and tell them you will deposit $500 in a house account if they agree to those terms and see what they say.

I win quite consistently.
I'm not playing against the house though.

Only idea I've ever wanted to try is a 50/50 play at the roulette wheel where if you lose you put down double what you lost until you win, then start over again. Like with 1$ starting. On a 50/50 play it shouldn't take long to hit.

Bet red or black on roulette. When you lose, double your bet on the next spin. When you win, start back at the original bet amount.
5 dollars, lose
10 dollars, lose
20 dollars, win. Payout totals 40. You’re up 5 dollars
As long as you don’t lose so many times in a row that you hit the table maximum, you’re guaranteed to come out ahead.

Is there a strategy where you can stay in a casino for weeks at a time playing cards or slots & actually make money?
Sorry casinos but you had a good run. It was only a matter of time before someone started asking the right questions.

I found a single-deck blackjack table over the weekend that I tore up. I was lucky enough to be playing solo most of the time .
That is the way to go if you play blackjack. To hell with the 6 or 8 deck tables. I won't play if there are more than 2 decks.

Just bet horses man.
One can become a profitable horse player with time. It’s been my part time job for a couple years now.
Read Brohamers and Crists book and learn Sartin methodology.

I’m not a gambler, but I think that’s why they usually have maximum bets. You can only double so many times.
A buddy and I did this at roulette always betting red or black based on what hit last as it tends to run in streaks. Double if you lose, go back to base bet if you win.
Yeah, that shite didn’t work.
