I am suppose to make a trip traveling up through Atlanta Georgia to N.Carolina. What the the interstate road conditions. waze says the interstate is open. Is gas available? If not where is it not. Any local input is appreciated.

Gas is spotty from Augusta Ga to Aiken SC. My advice would be to fill up in Atlanta then again in Columbia if you’re taking I-20.

West of Thomson on I20 gas is available. Greensboro is perfectly fine.
You can get gas in Augusta area at many places but may have to wait in line.

You’re fine. Just stop at every Sac-o-Suds you see to re-up on can goods and shotgun shells. Walking Dead has a path

You can use GasBuddy
I was driving back from DC to Charlotte and stopped overnight in Raleigh during the Colonial pipeline mess. I had been busy or driving all day so I had no idea. I came on TD to ask for help and someone mentioned GB. I found a station 3 miles from my hotel that was open after midnight and was able to run over and get gas. They limited us to $20 but the roughly 7 gallons I got was enough to get me home and I was able to sleep. TD saved my arse that night.

Atlanta proper is fine. Ignore the chlorine odor on the East side.

Depends on where you’re going. I traveled from Columbia to Atlanta and everything is pretty normal except between Thompson and Aiken where there are still outages and gas might be scarce.
If you’re traveling up I85 I would guess the same between the SC line and probably Spartanburg.
Do yourself and the citizens a favor and fill up before going through these stretches so the gas is available to people that need it and you don’t get stuck in a long wait.

What part of NC?
I'd imagine all points east of I 85 are fine.
