"Andreas Flaten said he left his job at A OK Walker Autoworks in November 2020. He said he was supposed to get his final paycheck, but was having difficulty getting it. Flaten said he even contacted the Georgia Department of Labor to get help. In mid-March, Flaten said he finally received the $915 he was owed, but it was not in the form he was expecting. Flaten said he was leaving his home to go to the store when he noticed the pile of oil-covered pennies. He said on top of the pile was an envelope that said "f--- you" and contained his last paystub. "This is a childish thing to do," Flatten said." - KTVU

That is a real petty thing to do and that employer must really hate that guy.

With the price of oil going up that’s more than $915

Also stupid if you're a business. The bad publicity from both stiffing an employee and pulling this stunt (which calls attention to the original offense) is going to be expensive.

That would have made a good Seinfeld episode.

Definitely a lot more to this story. I doubt this dude was an exemplary employee.

That's pretty awesome actually. He definitely fricked the boss's wife.

There's a reason his employer did that to him. He isn't telling everything.

Either way, still pretty shitty and petty to do that to someone.

So fricked up, yet so awesome at the same time. The dude definitely did something serious to piss off the old employer that much

Probably not but the owner has pwned himself over this when he didn't have to. His businesses's FB page is already blowing up over it.

He should have scooped that up and then continued going after them thru the department of labor.

Keep the pennies and claim they never paid you.

Four-way with the Boss's daughter, wife, and mother, then left an upper decker on his way out.

Please tell me that was a weekly paycheck...

He should separate the copper pennies and cash it in for the copper price...
