Golf Games for large groups

I'm part of a large group of guys that play golf every year in Myrtle Beach. Last year there was 20 of us and we played a variety of games. Looking to add some more fun to it because the games were pretty weak. We had some guys that were single digit HDCP and others that were wearing jean shorts and t-shirt's on the course. Here's 2 games that I've read about recently that would be fun. Anyone on here have a yearly tradition of playing with the guys? I've heard of some that every night they go over that day's scores and then "draft" or pick teams for the next day's games.

Play 2 man scramble. Gives you roughly 10 teams. 100 bucks per team. Winner take all.

And pair people up by handicap to even the odds.

We play skins
Closest to on par 3s
Longest drive on straightest 5s
Also play a moneyball for an additional 50 one per round

Wolf is a fun game to play.
I would never play golf with 20 fricking people though
Normally you would follow this sentence with 2 examples.

Pass the buck is pretty fun within your foursome... Everybody puts up a fixed amount of money on the first tee. Throw a tee up to see who gets the buck first, second, third, fourth. If you start with the pot, you keep it as long as you don't hit into trouble(sand trap, water or OB) or three putt. You also lose it if someone else makes a birdie. If you do hit into trouble or three putt, it goes to the next guy. Last man holding the buck when the round is over keeps it.

Old English sounds like it might be fun. Never played it, but heard about it.
Make two parallel lines of equal players facing each other about 10 yards apart, tee up and whack away at the other team just like the old English armies did. Last man standing's team wins!
I don't think this game has actually ever been played, nor is it intended to actually be played.

It depends on what you are looking for honestly. If you are looking to add more bets/gambling then a game called Chattahoochee is where it's at. Essentially you get your foursomes and the bets are as follows:
1. One bet for the front
2. One bet for hole 9
3. One bet for the back nine
4. One bet for hole 18
5. One bet overall
You take your foursome and play your own round and you can count 2 lowest scores on each hole, 3 lowest scores, all team or even just low ball. If you do all different score configs and all the bets, that is up to 20 bets against each team. If you have 5 teams, you have the possibility of winning or losing 80 bets.
Wolf is a game that you can play within you team, but if your playing Chattahoochee, you don't want to play anything within the group as that will usually change how you play a hole.
Skins is a good one, but with 20 people, you couldn't verify the next hole.
If fun and not gambling is your goal, then I suggest two man scramble or alternate shot as your thing and just get fall down drunk.

Agree. Wolf sucks unless all 4 in the group are near same handicap.

Snake
1st guy to 3 putt has the snake until another guy 3 putts. If more than 1 guy 3 putts on the same hole furthest putt has it.
Whoever has the snake when the cart girl comes or when you make the turn has to buy the whole round.

Daytona
Need to have 4 to play. Each player hits off the tee and the closest balls once in play are partners.
Ex. If two hit it right and two hit it left, the closest are partners on that hole. Now say you and your partners both make 4, your score for the hole is 44. If your opponent makes a par(4) and his partner makes a double (6), their score is 64. Double bogey and higher, you take the higher number. Fun game and it can get out if hand, money wise. I suggest no more than a dollar a point for first timers. Have fun in MB
