WalMart employees should be able to beat shoplifters with bars of soap shoved inside of tube socks.

The straight up audacity of those frickfaces is incredible every time I see those videos. And the absolute worst part is that he will likely be fired and maybe even charged with a crime, and she won’t. It’s fricking disgusting.

Great to see them stop her. It’s a shame what this country has become and the policies in place that the employees get fired for doing the right thing.

shoplifting is trashy as frick but walmart doesn't pay enough for employees to give a shite about it. Why would I care in the least if some dude is stealing from the store I work at?

A lot of retail theft is by employees.

I knew a guy who worked at Dillards unloading trucks. Stole suits often.

Wasn’t there a thread on here about a woman who had hundreds of pairs of shoes because she worked at a store and stole the shoes?

I was in the Ellick Dillards on a weekday last month. There were maybe six employees and about as many customers. Whole sections were vacant. You could have grabbed an armload of shirts or whatever and walked out. Not only would no one have stopped you, no one would have seen you.

Can’t speak post start Covid but yes most retail theft is by employees (not customers) and most large stores already have this in their yearly fiscal budget.
