Had to put my dog down today

Terrible. It's one of the worst feelings to have to do.

Sorry for your loss. My dog is probably headed down the rainbow road later this year. Such a difficult experience with owning a pet.

I had to put my white German Shepherd down about a month ago. He was 9 also and was diagnosed with hip dysplasia when he was a year old. Poor fellow couldn't walk anymore. One of the hardest things I've ever had to do.

I believe all they ask is that you be there for them at the end as they were there for you many more times then you can count.

You will see him again. RIP

That’s why I’m trying to make myself enjoy each day to the fullest. My older dog is turning six next month.

I’ve got to put mine down tomorrow. He’s 5. Best and smartest dog I’ve ever had. Frick cancer.

I feel your pain. i have a 8 year old with cancer and a 16 year old with kidney
disease. I am dreading the next few weeks.
