I am thinking about pulling the trigger on a company that just recently quoted me. They are going to do roof, exterior of house and driveway.
Were you satisfied with the results?

i got the quote broken down into 3 parts... roof, exterior, and driveway
For some reason the roof is twice as much as the exterior
600 for roof
300 for exterior of house
250 for driveway

With soft washing they are applying a commercial version of bleach diluted with water on the house that gets rid of the mold, dirt. For the roof, they don't dilute the bleach. Also, the run off will kill grass and plants, so there is a second person who is constantly rinsing the plant life with water.

Preaux Wash did mine. Great job. House/concrete and sidewalk looked brand new.

HydroWash came highly recommended to me, and the fella operating the company did a great job.

How do they soft wash a driveway?

algae does not harm the life of your roof. anything you have done to your roof will only shorten the lifespan of your shingles. Its common sense.

i'm guessing if they apply a chemical treatment, they can pressure clean it faster needing less pressure to clean.

That’s what I would’ve guessed as well, but had no idea. Maybe with the round attachments?

Go buy a pressure washer for $200 and have it pay for itself while getting some sun.

Not anymore. Current stuff is safe for animals and plants.

Not true. Any real pressure washer will sodium hypochlorite (bleach) mixed with a surfactant to help it stick and block the bleach smell. Applied correctly and rinsing the surroundings with water, it won't harm plants and animals, but you won't see anyone spraying their dog with it.
For the driveway, they will apply the SH mixture, let it sit, and then use a surface cleaner which does use pressure. Then they will post treat if they are good.
I've been doing this on the side for some time now.

They specifically advertise this. Is it true?
