Have to print 1,500 photos. Photobook vs individual prints/album recommendations?

I have some catching up to do over the years, primarily snapshots, and I always enjoyed having hard photo media growing up. Especially now that digital prints get filed away out of sight.
I was looking into individual prints and albums, but then started looking into the printed photo books.
Does anyone have a preference of one over the other? And if you use photo books, a recommended site for the amount (about 1500) of photos I’m dealing with? It spans about 20 years, so was going to probably do groups of years per book. I have anywhere from 50-200 photos per year I’ll be printing off.
I cropped and applied auto settings to them so I’d prefer a service that does not do their own auto corrections.

Printed books for 1500 images will be about 200-300 pages. Conservatively, you’re probably looking at a $500 book.
I've had success with Mixbook.

Ever since my daughter was born, I do a book for my wife of pictures from the year. I always use BLURB. I'm able to do most of it in lightroom and send to blurb that way making it easy, but you can do on their site as well. The quality of the books is really good.

I’m a huge fan of mpix for printing. I’d recommend going with a photo book. I take a lot of pictures and have used them many times; they provide great quality prints. They often have sales with codes so maybe design the book and wait for a sale.
If you wanted to make a nicer photo book/album you can look into Artifact Uprising. They are more expensive with higher quality books.

Build books on Shutterfly and wait until unlimited free pages to order. Best deal I’ve found so far

So I'm looking at photo books, and all of my photos are cropped to fit 4x6 photos. Is there a photobook that anyone knows of that I can just drop these onto the page as is, in 4x6 format?
