Have you ever heard of a Mantis Shrimp?

Watch it punch it’s way straight through a clam shell and eat it.
I can’t decide if they’re more badass or terrifying.
They’re carnivores

I remember when I taught Psychology, I learned that mantis shrimp could see 12 different colors, including UV. Humans see everything in three colors.

I hadn’t until I read the book Fragment. I definitely recommend it. Actually, I should read it again
