YouTube link to original video

This lady, Ms Beth, seems to be a sweet old lady just trying to live out her last years. I don’t know how many know of the SB Mowing page, but the guy cleans up yards for free. Decent time waster and satisfying to watch, although I feel like most of his videos could just be 7-10 min long, not 30.

Look, sometimes GoFundMe is used for a lot of good things. Who would have ever thought just by going by this lady’s home, over $850,000 has been raised so far for her. On the page, he’s mentioned that before the funds are released, he’s going to lawyers to make sure it’s protected and only for her

Bravo to the guy that runs this page. And I love seeing this happen to people that are in serious need of it.

SIAP. Wouldn’t even know what to search

GoFundMe link just to see how much has been given to her

I subscribe to and open every SB Mowing video and like it so that he can make more money, and since other lawn care and contractors are doing this, I try to open and like their videos too.

the OCD side of me wanted him to do more like spray the driveway down with cornerstone when he was done but that was a helluva lotta work for free and he did a great job. i hope someone with a true philanthropic heart gets to control those gofund purse strings and spends every penny of it to make her life better.

which is why someone with a proven track record of honesty needs to get control of that money and manage it for her.

$850,000 is pretty much a lottery win for her; old, single, tiny house. she should be allowed to live out the rest of her days in comfort and have her needs met with that.

Tik Tok versions are like 2-3 minutes. They pop up on my feed from time to time. Definitely an easy watch.

Last i saw it was at 500k. Can't believe it will probably reach a million. Wild.

Then her house will be re-assessed, her taxes will explode, and she'll have to sell it.

did you notice the houses around her?

i'm not talking turn it into a mansion; i'm saying add brick, pour new driveway and update her interior and fix the water damage..because you and i both know there's black mold and leaking issues in that house and replace the windows with the cardboard in them.

add a handicap ramp. make sure indoor showers, bath, stairs are all up to code so she won't fall and break a hip.

clean up her backyard and put up a martin house so she can go outside and enjoy the outdoors.

that can be done without turning it into a million dollar house.

even 100k in the hands of a proper management company can turn that house around and make it safe and liveable.

with the remaining $900,000 in the bank, she can pay any property tax difference..and depending on the state, she may already be exmpt from those taxes because of her age.

Been following SB Mowing for a long time. And others like him.

Watching people mow and edge out of control lawns is pure therapy for me

Thank God for people like this.

There's some Facebook feed I follow that posts something positive every day. Usually something about rescue animals or something. It's my new favorite thing.

If you're concerned about all this money being misused, here's an update from SB:

Hey everyone, Spencer here with SB Mowing! I will be going to tell Beth either today or tomorrow how much we have raised for her. I am also working with an attorney to setup a trust for her to make sure that all of the funds are protected. I don't want anybody trying to take advantage of her and I want to make sure that the funds are used properly.

That’s covered in his post on the fund me. Part of that money will pay a landscaping company to take care of her because it’s too long of a drive for him every week.

I wondered what family she might have because it's apparent no one has come to help her.
