It is an electric version of the very first Datsun/Toyota ultra basic trucks.

Nothing wrong with that. At all.

I like the design aesthetics, but unless that guy is a giant, that looks incredibly uncomfortable for anyone over 5'10".

No radio, no ac, doesn't look terrible with the SUV cap. 240 range with upgraded battery.

The new Altima?

Maybe...

( it does have ac)

Except those trucks actually had a bed with a usable length. Even some of the smaller mini pickups of the day could be had with 8 foot beds.

You could barely fit a dorm fridge in that pickup bed.

The OT "Trucks are so fricking expensive these days "

Also the OT "frick American made American sourced new products meant to disrupt current Auto Trends with base price under 20k"

Then it's built for the majority of people from Louisiana.

i have my doubts that they will hit their price/release date targets

but right now it sounds like a dream vehicle - especially if it doesn’t have any intrusive tech

I said it the original thread discussing this… I’m a fan. We need some affordable secondary vehicles for urban areas and being a utility truck is a bonus

I, too, like to make up arguments in my head that no one else is making.

This is a very narrow market truck. You cannot expect people that want a full-sized pickup to respond with "oh hell yes I would absolutely stick my dick into the outlet of that truck."

I'm fine with a cheap truck that can move some stuff. It would be 30k more I can invest instead of driving a slightly higher model f150

Made in America with American components and batteries. Meant to be customized to your own liking. I hope it succeeds.
