Ah yes. Dekalb County. How they get anyone to accept a teaching position, south of Peachtree Industrial Blvd., is a mystery...

This country needs more and larger prisons…or a lot more vigilantism.

At minimum. Society simply needs to accept that there are individuals that will never have a positive impact.

It’s way past time to admit what the problem is. Political correctness has wrongly put them on a pedestal and frankly, that has led to people(not me) expecting too much of them. Such as respecting authority, contributing to the world, not being a criminal or being violent…time to admit that these things are just not possible. They can’t function in a civil society where customs, norms and laws are what make it work. They don’t car about that and only give in to their animalistic instincts. They have never left the ID phase of development so all they want is instant gratification, damn the consequences. Their culture is beyond repair. The opinions of them in the 17-1800’s were actually more accurate than the ones today.

Are we SURE this is recent?

Recruiting teacher aides from a local gym always worked well for me. Former college football players who washed out in the NFL are perfect for the job.

I was around for about the last 5-8 years of administrators paddling as a consequence. It is NOT a solution for the chronic behavior problems.

I quit teaching in 2019, it was happening before Covid. I had several kids threaten me but none of them had the balls to throw any punches. One kid threw a basketball at me (he was white believe it or not). His parents threw a fit when we tried to punish him. I had to threaten charges to get them to stop harassing me about. Before that the Dad kept saying he was going to come over and "teach me a less."

Nothing is going to happen until "SHTF." That’s just how modern America works. You have to argue about it the internet for decades and cause a recession to get people to notice. Nobody really cares until it directly affects them.

My prediction, in the 2030's about 25% of the American population will be unemployable. You're starting to see it now with Zoomers getting fired left and right after to getting their first jobs out of school. It will be even worse with the kids coming up now. Most of Corporate America isn't going to lower the goal posts more than it already is.

So Chris Rock needs to make an addendum to his thoughts about violence occurring on streets named after MLK

I moved from a title 1 school to a school in one of the wealthier districts in the state of Kansas (may be second/third wealthiest depending on how blue valley comes in) and good lord the difference is amazing. Took a bit of a hit financially but the peace of mind was 1000% worth it. I got along with all the kids at my old building but was still worried Id get caught in some stupid shite with kids I didn’t know with how fricking wild some of them were.

The solution might be a father that actually gives a shite being present in a child’s life.

Agreed. I can’t explain it, but it’s gotten substantially worse since then, like many other things in this country. Good for you to get out when you did.
