My go-to has always been to play with it with my tongue and try to bite it off with my teeth until it just goes away a week later.

If its just like one bump, cutting them off with finger nail clippers honestly works. It'll bleed, but will feel so much relief. If its the groups of em try some witch hazel

Seriously. Go to CVS or Walgreen's and get some L-Lysine. I use this before when I ate too many sunflower seeds. Works over night

I have done the nail clipper thing once. Hurts like heck then total relief.

Sore tongue can be caused by B Vitamin deficiency, which can be caused by antibiotics. I had it years ago while being treated for staph. I was on four different antibiotics.

You probably had whats call thrush. Some get that from taking antibiotics.

My mom used to put alum powder (from the spice aisle) on our canker sores at night. Tasted like shite, but they would be gone by morning.
