How do you deal with cryptic texts from people you know?

Just an observation, women do this more than men.
I have a new policy of not responding to them at all. Just ignoring it. It's going pretty well for me.
My definition of a "cryptic text" is any text that was purposely sent without enough information for me to possibly know what it's about.
