I also graduated from the same College of Business but just put BS in Accounting from LSU on resume.

Bachelor of Science, Business Administration (BSBA) Information Systems Management.

You doubled down and followed up your first irrelevant post with another irrelevant post.

I could give 2 shits what your degree is in. When I'm hiring I'm more interested in your work history. Sure, your degree can get you a look and in the door without a decent work history. No work history is a huge red flag for me. Or huge gaps in it.

Whatever it is internally titled will show up on a background check
A few years ago, a lawsuit against a chemical company was tossed by a judge when it was found that an expert witness for the plaintiff listed an impressive degree that wasn't actually offered by his college.
Ya never know when somebody at sometime may verify your credentials. If you've lost your diploma, order a transcript and don't embellish it.

IDK. They have been sitting in a box in storage for a long time.
I was in an old lawyer’s office once and he had all of his diplomas and things stacked in a corner behind a couch.
When I asked him why he doesn’t hang them up, he said “nobody gives a shite what those say after a few years.”

Business Administration is the type of degree (Bachelor of Business Administration in ISDS, or MIS, or Accounting...).

Never had an employer ask for a degree. My licenses, my certifications, but not my degree. Now the people that do my licenses and certifications asked for my degree but never directly from me, they get it from the university.

I have the same degree. I graduated in 2000. I've always spelled it out because other schools called that MIS or something else - BS - Information Systems and Decision Sciences.
That's what it was called when I earned it. Nobody really cares about my degrees anymore anyway after 25 years in my field.

Generally your major is listed on your diploma
My undergraduate diploma (USM) just lists the college of my major (College of Science & Technology) and my degree (Bachelor of Science). There's nothing about major / minor, though they are both listed on my transcript.
Maybe some schools put the major? Seems weird to me, but maybe that's just because of what I personally have hanging on the wall.

College of Arts & Sciences
Bachelor of Arts

No major/minor listed. But I lost my degree in a hurricane and never got a replacement since employers only want transcripts anyway.

I am on a 3 person panel for interviewing for software developers. It's been incredibly difficult to find qualified candidates. We see an insane number of candidates that job hop or have a job almost every year. We interviewed a guy that has had a contract gig for every year going back 8 or o years with 3 to 4 month stretches between jobs
We interviewed him and he gave us way too much information about his personal life and he did not interview very well at all. Explained why none of the contract roles converted to full time roles.
