think the one remaining Long Johns in Louisiana is in Lake Charles in front of the mall. At least it was open about 4 years ago
I remember that one but the only one still open in Louisiana is in Shreveport.

Last time I ate there it was pretty good.

Red Lobster is fine. But Louisiana people have an obligation to pretend they only eat fresh seafood bought straight from a fisherman on the dock.

You're on a website that is based in a state with some of the best seafood in North America.
Red Lobster is shite, outside of their whole live lobsters (if they even have that). I've only been to one once, while in West Texas, a thousand miles from the ocean.

Long Johns in Louisiana is in Lake Charles
Also, after working on the road in the Midwest and Appalachia, I'd always be too skeptical to try any local seafood place. There's no chance it's better than home.
I started hunting for Red Lobsters just to get a seafood fix, though. I have to say, it hit the spot a few times. It's definitely better than a lot of the cracker box chains they call seafood restaurants in a lot of places.

The crab legs are good and I love the coconut shrimp

If you live in Iowa it is probably your best bet. Used to go to St Louis anf Cinn for work....the Red Lobsters were packed.
Their crab stuffed mushrooms are the tips or were the last time I was there.

When it’s a special occasion and Cracker Barrel seems a little ordinary, there’s always Red Lobster to class things up.

Used to be fancy enough to wear church clothes and unlimited crab legs. Now it’s over priced and skimpy with trashy ppl dining.

My parents think it is awesome. I have never eaten there.

Aren’t the biscuit complementary with meal?
The OT theory is they remain open on something they offer with the meal?
If they offer them with the meal, then you need to order a meal to get them.

It’s fine but so wouldn’t eat it while in Louisiana. I used to travel for work and when I was in small towns I would eat there. Had never had it before I started traveling for work.

The one in Metairie stays packed too

Their food is great! I don’t get the hate. Cheddar bay biscuits and admiral’s feast ftw

Never been inside of a red lobster. Growing up, my family always opted for Ralph & Kakoos. As an adult, I don’t eat seafood so I’ve never ventured over there.
