Like average to higher quality ones...not Home Depot pickups.

How much to repaint the entire interior of a 3200 sq. ft. home?

You’re better off doing it yourself if you’ve got the time

That depends on the square footage and not just floor space. High ceilings, crown molding, color changes in every room, how many doors, do windows need painting or are they newer vinyl ones that don't need painting.

How much repair work needs to be done? Is it furnished and furniture needs to be moved in every room. All that crap adds up quick.

I helped my gf (no pics) paint the interior of her entire house a few weeks ago, roughly 2,000 square feet, MASSIVE pain in the arse.

I asked her why she didn't hire a painter and she mentioned a previous house about your size got quoted at roughly $15,000.

So the pain in the arse wasn't as massive when I heard that number

Considered going into painting when I heard that shite.

To own?

I think that’s frowned upon.

A good estimate is $300 average per room/space for the walls. Add another $100 or so for trim.

I just repainted a 2500 Sq ft house and got 6 estimates.

Did much of it myself, and got professionals for the the stuff I didn't want to do.

Painting walls is easy. Painting doors, trim and ceilings is a bitch.

We repainted every wall and ceiling in our house a few montha ago. Cost us about 3k or so. 100% worth it in my mind to just let them baws knock it out over 3.5 days versus taking weeks to do it ourselves.

You can buy an entire Mexican for about $1000.

They are like the Swiss Army knife of immigrants.

Life Hack:

Hire ONE painter to only do the trim work.. roll everything else yourself.. it’ll take some time, but well worth the money you save in the end. The guy charged me $175 per day, and we worked our arse off

Also, you’ll have 5-10 friends who will volunteer to help. Don’t let them. You’ll have one room looking perfect (the one you painted) but the rest of your house will look like a group of ADHD teenagers painted it. Nobody takes their time and does a good job job unless (a) it’s THEIR shite or (b) they’re getting paid for it

I did my house (1600 sq ft) in about 3-4 days.. all of the doors took a day or so also... painting the ceiling was truly a MFer

A real answer

300 per room all rooms are not equal.

They will price by the sq ft and that will be dependant on a few variables.

They might price each door and trim.

Ballpark $6000. Are we talking doors/trim/ceilings or just walls?
