How to get burnt plastic smell out of house

Son put a microwave biscuit in the microwave for a little to long. Came in to smoke everywhere. How can I help with the burnt smell

Open the windows and let the house air out. Happens to everyone. Put popcorn on too long and had smoke rolling out the microwave 
Shite happens. Aired out the house for the entire day and it was fine by the end of day. Plus it’s a beautiful day to open up the windows. Hope that helps.

Probably going to have to get rid of the microwave unfortunately. My sister had to deal with this about 4 years back when my nephew put a pizza in for 12 minutes. I still order him a cookbook every year for Christmas.

Go to New Orleans for a day. Don’t shower. Come back. Your house will then smell like piss and vomit instead.

Go to the source of the problem, get rid that sumbitch & start anew. In all seriousness, try a product called Odoban it works great on odors & won’t leave a residue in your microwave, plus you can use it as a room spray as well.
