It is turning into a lost art form and I fear that it may become one of those traditions that's completely lost 20 or 30 years from now. My great grandfather was the best in the county and my grandpa also was extremely efficient.

I just can't seem to get any of my cows stumpbroke, however. How did you stumpbroke your first cow? I feel as if I can get the first one stumpbroke, the rest will fall in line.

Thanks in advance for the tips

Can you try explaining this again, and this time pretend like we don't know what you are talking about? Thanks.

I find copious amounts of alcohol helps.

Remember, no means no, so get consent first.

They teach this during student orientation at Auburn.

“ Stump broke refers to the training process of teaching a cow to stand still while being milked. The term "stump" comes from the practice of tying a cow’s leg to a post or stump during milking. This helps to prevent the cow from moving around, potentially causing harm to itself or the milker. Over time, the cow becomes accustomed to this routine and learns to stand still without the need for restraints.”

The stump is for standing on. Stumpbroke must mean something completely different where you live

You gotta wait for that cow to stand by a stump and put her tail in the air.

Though you can find the term on google, etc. that refers to training a cow to stand still while being milked. This drunk/high clown is making an attempt at humor by referring to stump broke as the practice of having a cow stand by a stump and his pops standing on the stump frickin the cow.
