High value" men are becoming those who feature less traditionally masculine traits. Empathy, emotional maturity, and supportive roles are more sought after than finances, physical strength, and influence.

Yeah this is somewhat true, although several of these items are essentially stripping the man of being a man.

Secondly, its not a simple "they want the opposite" type situation.

You are asking men to suppress their natural traits while also being obedient with how they use their masculinity.

We aren't pets... And we aren't trying to become the woman in a relationship.

What's not discussed in here is how fast "high valued" men become less valuable because they step out of line or aren't 100% "obedient.

For every woman who is “girl bossing” at a Fortune 500 company and raking in cash, there are 20 women who might be “educated” but majored in something like English Literature and now make $40,000/year. Some of those women are married to baws who might lack education but possess skills that earn them six figures. Unless you’re majoring in economics or STEM, more education =\= higher earnings right now. I know a lot of really sharp people with high school degrees and I graduated college with some people who didn’t have the good sense to get out of the damn rain. At the end of the day, a lot of women are happy being nurturers and a lot of men are happy being providers and that is what brings most of them together. Education isn’t changing biology, as much as some academics might try.
