One of the grandkids had his drink outside and left his cap. Anyways my GoldenDoodle ( 9 months old 55 lbs ) got the cap and before I could catch him , I think he ate it. Has anyone had this happen with their dog? Should I bring him to the vet tonight? He seems fine now btw

give it a day or two, you will know he shite it out when you hear him yelp taking a dump as it scratches on its way out.

if you want to help him "release it" then give him some laxatives

you need to be sure it left otherwise he could get a bowel obstruction so looks like you are going to be on poopy duty for a few days

You'll spend $850 for them to verify there is indeed something in there that shouldn't be, then they will send you home and tell you to wait for him to shite it out.

Was it a winner from the Red Hot Summer ‘96 Coca Cola promotion?

If you need him to give it back to you, pour peroxide down the dog's throat. He will throw up in a matter of seconds. You can do it about three times.

We had a boxer who was around 6 months old eat a whole bag of balloons without us knowing. We figured it out when there were 2 balloon turds in our backyard. Never seen anything like that

It won't hurt him and will pass. A couple tablespoons of canned pumpkin pie filling could assist. You could call a vet for opinion at no charge, but the pup should be fine.

He’s fine. You’ll post on here in 13 years about your dog dying and tell us to hug our dogs. I can’t wait.

Our 1.5 year old 70 Pound yellow lab ate a sock for the first time at 6 months old. We contemplated going to the emergency vet instantly (didn’t go). It will either be pooped out or thrown up 1-2 days later. We have lost count of how many pieces of clothing or foreign objects he has swallowed now.
