One way or the other. I don’t care which. It screws with your internal clock. Throws you off and takes a week for your body to readjust.

The answer may be splitting the difference 30 minutes and make it permanent that way to appease both crowds.

Give me more daylight before the sun sets. My morning commute is 12 minutes.

It’s tough to explain to a 6 month old the whole time change thing…. I guess I’ll be waking up at 4:45 from now on.

Just another example of sheeple manipulation.
The time doesn't really change. Just man's perception of it.

You literally have to change your clock to reflect the correct time

I mean if you have a job or somewhere to be, it totally changes. I guess if you were laying around the house all day it wouldn’t matter. You are literally waking up an hour earlier or later depending on the change. And going to bed an hour earlier or later. Your body has to adjust.

Since I work from home and can theoretically just stop working earlier in the day (usually) I actually prefer standard time. Oddly my boys slept in this am like almost an hour later (so now normal), despite going to bed at normal daylight time.

I went from MDT in early Sept to CDT for a couple weeks to EDT for a month back to MDT for a week then back to EDT only to hit EST. So my brain doesn’t know what the hell time it is.

M-F my alarm is set for 4:45 and I usually wake up about 15 minutes before it’s set to go off. My alarm probably only wakes me up about once or twice a month as I am usually up a little bit before.

On the weekends, I am usually up between 6:00-6:15…this morning I was up at 5:00 thanks to the time change. For the next week or two…I’ll be awake around 3:30-3:45 thanks to this stupid time change.

Give me DST year round…hate having it get dark at 5:00-5:15 in the afternoons for a couple plus months.

What? It's an hour. Not a big deal. Talk about soft.

Yup. Permanent DST would be a disaster, just like it was in the 70s last time it was tried.

I reset a few clocks and survive. I seriously don't understand why some of you pussies need therapy for this twice a year.

Doesn’t really make sense to me. You don’t gain or lose any daylight. Companies that are light dependent still have to shift their hours to work in the daylight. I’m in favor of picking one and sticking with it, daylight saving or daylight spending. I don’t care. Just quit changing it.

This can't happen in Louisiana. Where are you? Alaska?
