Had to fire an employee last year cause he just whipped it out in a parking lot.

I still have a bad habit of pissing behind my truck door in parking lots. I do try and make sure nobody is around.

I do miss the old piss walls in Tiger Stadium. Always some baw there with cold feet while a line of baws were waiting for him to step off the wall and make space.

I remember it like it was yesterday, I was going to school in San Antonio, Texas circa 1991-1992

Walked in and saw a kid shitting in the urinal. Gave a little head nod then walked over and took a piss in the other urinal.

I don't know about those, but Jordan-Hare had facing troughs when I was a kid. That sucked.

It's fascinating how societal norms evolve with urban development, isn't it?

It’s almost like large groups of people can’t just have everyone doing what they want to do.

If pissing outside is wrong I don’t want to be right.

I piss off the back patio more than I do in the toilet. I find it liberating.

The shift from urinating outdoors to it being deemed unacceptable is tied to urbanization and public health reforms. In the 19th century, as cities grew, public urination became a concern due to sanitation issues and the spread of diseases. This led to the construction of public restrooms, often called "comfort stations," which were introduced in cities by the early 20th century.

Laws against public urination were established to maintain hygiene and order in increasingly crowded urban areas. Today, public urination is illegal in most places and is often classified as disorderly conduct or a misdemeanor3.

It's fascinating how societal norms evolve with urban development, isn't it?

Ancient Rome supposedly had public toilets, although they shared arse wipers in the form of brushes. Dont know if this was true since I wasnt there.

quote:

The Romans had two primary ways to clean themselves post-bathroom break. Option one? A tool called a tersorium, which was “used to clean the buttocks after defecation.” Imagine a loofah, but made of fresh sea sponge, attached to a wooden rod—similar to back-washers sold in drugstores today. After using the stick to aim and the sponge to wipe, the person would dunk the sponge in a bucket full of water or vinegar to clean it off for the next user. While water wouldn’t do much in terms of sterilization by modern standards, vinegar would prove much more—if not totally—effective.

It’s wierd that if you see someone run into the bushes and throw up you immediately assume he ate something bad or has the flu or something.

But, if you see a guy run into the bushes to take a panic dump people assume he just likes to poop in public.

Cities legalizing it are the problem. The amount of times the average guy poops in public he can risk the ticket.

“Can’t you piss on a wall or something in some countries ,legally”

I was in Rota,Spain (Navy) ‘71-‘73,I used to see men do that occasionally,
See a young couple walking down side walk holding hands. They would stop, guy would face the wall, take a piss and then take the girls hand again and keep walking.
I thought it was very weird.
I’m curious if they still allow it.
