I'm surprised to not see any arrests of people trying to produce cocaine in the US.

It seems like a very easy product to make. All of the ingredients outside of the coca leaves can be bought at a local store. Coca leaves are illegal in the US, but the seeds aren't illegal and you would just need a climate controlled greenhouse to grow the plant. I've seen estimates that you would only need 100 square miles of land to grow coca and be able to satisfy the US demand for coke. It seems like a small greenhouse in your backyard would be enough growing space to live comfortably off your one or two large sales a year.
Currently, I think the only company in the US that can buy coca leaves is the Stepan Company, and they sell the leaves to Coca-Cola.
The basic process to produce coke is to chop up the coca leaves, spread some cement powder on them, splash some sulfuric acid mixed with water on the leaves, marinate the leaves in gasoline, filter out the leaves, use battery acid to separate the watery coke substance from the gasoline, add baking soda, strain and boil out the water, spread the coke paste out to dry, break up the coke paste into a powder.

Are you by chance a high school chemistry teacher in New Mexico?

Just a curious American that sees people growing marijuana or making crystal meth that has less street value and wondering why.

It takes about a ton of coca leaves to make a kilo — about 2.2 pounds from one source
another says About two acres of plants (depending on growing conditions) produces roughly 400kg of plant matter all of which is mulched down. The end result of that 400kg is a single kilo of cocaine for export.

Did you ever consider there might be some environmental requirements for growing coca that make it difficult to duplicate in the US?

Seems like all the shite they put on it, you could get the same results with chicken tree leaves

It’s a matter of time since Biden and kabuki have closed the border.

It takes like 400kg of coca leaves to make 1 kilo which takes about 2 acres to produce
Greenhouse production is not really efficient for profit. At best you might could make enough coke for personal use and not worry about what its cut with

So me mentioning the climate controlled greenhouse was not enough?

What is the street value of 1 kilo right now?

I'm surprised there's not more of this to try to put a clean, safe produce out with so much coke being laced now. You could really profit for a few years before you get taken down.

That’s cause Fentanyl is the drug of choice now a days

Why grow it when it's so cheap
if you know the right Mexican
a friend told me that

Takes a bunch of leaf to make a little product and it is a shite load of work. It takes at least a week or two once you harvest the leaf. Most people would rather just pay their money than do all that work, because you aren't going to be producing anymore than what you could use for yourself.

Who was the genius that came up with this and I'd love to hear how that thought process went starting with a leaf
