Had friends in HS get pulled over for air fresheners in Louisiana

What is the point of this thread? Are you suggesting this is why Daunte Wright was pulled over? Because that’s a lie

Can you imagine if they actually enforced that in Louisiana? Could solve the fiscal problems
Feathered roach clips became the fashion hit for druggies and non druggies alike. To the extent some fools made their flip up sun visors look like they had long fake multi-color eyelashes. At one point it seemed like 80-90 percent of the cars traveling interstates had at least 1 feathered clip hanging from the mirror.
I would travel from Memphis or Tulsa to LaTech and back on Quarter breaks. Saw many people pulled over for vehicle searches that apparently were triggered by nothing more than the clip and a hunch as I observed no other obvious infractions (talking seeing people I passed get pulled over in my rear view mirror). Had a trooper pull over a carload of us for nothing more than the clip on the mirror once too. (no search since there were 4 of us and he was alone in middle nowhere and the clip was like brand new shiny clean so obviously not used for weed)

Those are known as the “felony forest.” Higher than average chance of weed or other illegalities in the vehicle when multiple trees are hanging.

I honestly had no idea this was a real law until someone did some research in the Daunte thread.
I would be screwed if I lived in another state because I'm always opening up a new air freshener to hang in my car. Not to mention I have a pair of fuzzy dice as well.
It's a stupid law.

Everyone here knows that. But what's interesting is that the cops could have pulled him over for the air freshener as well, and they still would have been within their rights technically.
I'm sure there's multiple people who didnt know this was a law in certain states.

Yea sure. Because the Democrats have done so much to improve the lot and lives of the black man and families over the last say 50 years.. Gotta be the Republicans keeping them down... How long can people be hoed out without realizing who's pimpin who? Definition of insanity.
As long as they keep everyone on the government plantation hooked on that good living, and keep the media propaganda machine rolling, indefinitely.

I see people with Mardi Gras beads all the time.
Maybe it's unofficial that those don't count because they don't block the view.

Dude got pulled over for an expired tag

This has ZERO to do with an "Air Freshener"...where is that asteroid when we need it ? Humanity is doomed.

Handicap tags; "other than a certificate or other paper required to be so displayed by law, or permitted by regulation of the secretary of public safety" Parking passes; The hanging should be designed and labeled so they are to be used while parked (and removed during vehicle operation). The sticker type are likely state approved (maybe a grey area??)
Yep, hanging tags are technically required to removed while driving. Of course, no one really does this in BR.

If this post is in response to the false lies about how that black kid had an air freshener, and that is why he was pulled over.....
That kid had a warrant out for his arrest/expired tags, and there was no air freshener in his vehicle
He resisted arrest

Actually the Democrats in VA have prohibited a number of things this year for pretext stoppages by LEO:
Playing loud music
Having a loud exhaust
Smelling reefer coming from your car
Not having taillights
and my personal favorite: an expired Inspection tag...they can only stop you if your tag is 4 months past due.
What those idiots did is change it from a 12 month to 15 month renewal period! Dumbasses.

Hold on, when did a rearview mirror air freshener become racist. I mean, I guess everything is these days, but damn.

I wish a mofo would tell me something about my black ice air freshener.....

That wasn’t the reason he got pulled over.
This fact still seems to be getting overlooked....or just outright ignored.

So....they can't stop a car for legitimately not being roadworthy? Brake lights/taillights are kind of important to the driving process. I don't have a problem with the others, but this one is idiotic.
