I hear that they have hearings there every day, too, and that at the hearings people hear things that they probably shouldn't hear at hearings.

TD breaking news again. Hope the shooter is taking a dirtnap. How the hell do you get a firearm into a courthouse anyway?

HOUSTON (KIAH) — A man was shot and killed by Harris County SWAT officers after allegedly pointing a gun at them from a balcony of a northwest Harris County apartment, deputies said.
Just before 8 a.m. Monday, Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the apartment complex at 5550 Dancy Road. They said they found a man firing a gun from the balcony of an apartment and had barricaded himself in the apartment.
Harris County SWAT team members were then called to the scene.
The man remained barricaded in the apartment until around 10 a.m., when the man came out again on the balcony and allegedly pointed his gun at deputies. That’s when four SWAT members fired their weapons that hit the man. The suspect was declared dead at the scene.

TEXAS CITY, Texas (KTRK) -- A SWAT standoff came to an end after the suspect died by suicide on Monday, according to police.
The Texas City Police Department said officers surrounded a home on 27th Avenue North after a suspect allegedly shot a woman and opened fire on responding officers.
The police department said a juvenile called 911, saying family members were actively fighting outside the home in the North Village subdivision.
Investigators said about four to six rounds were fired at responding officers as they arrived, and then more shots were fired from inside the home once the suspect retreated.
A woman was shot inside the house and ran outside to an officer, according to police.
She was taken to the hospital for her injuries, which are believed to be non-life-threatening at this time.
