What is the proper term for someone from Louisiana?
I've seen it both ways. According to one source I found, it can be "Louisianan" or "Louisianian" with the former being etymologically correct.

It probably depends on how you pronounce Louisiana. If you fully annunciate the word then I'd say your former choice. If you don't then I'd say your latter choice.
