Is Pancho’s Mexican Buffet still around?

Pancho’s randomly crossed my mind the other day. I googled to see if there were any locations still open.
There might be two or three in the Dallas area?
The Pancho’s website looks like it hasn’t been updated in years, so it may or may not be accurate.
Dallas baws, is Pancho’s still around? If so, is it still good?

I’ve noticed there’s way more roadkill so they must have closed down.

There was one on Florida Blvd in Baton Rouge. Probably all the dogmeat you could eat. Just raise the little flag.

I may have put the one on Nicholson out of business with my excessive flag raising.

I think you’re thinking of El Mageys on siegan close to Perkins

There's one in Humble, Conroe and Dallas. That's probably as close as you're going to get from La. They will never achieve the greatness of the Pancho's on Nicholson of the 70's and 80's.
If I had a time machine this would definitely be one of the stops, circa 1979 !

I’m suddenly craving sopaipillas.

2-3 in DFW, I’d stop by one strictly for nostalgic reasons

I saw one in McAllen, TX not too long ago. First one I’ve seen in a long time.

The original Metairie location on Vets was awesome. The post-Katrina location was terrible.

How long have you been waiting to use that picture?

That is one thing I miss from my childhood is mexican buffets. I loved all that good food for cheap. I haven't found one in many years now.

There is one near Grand Prairie Texas.
Ate there last year. It was exactly as I remembered it. Which is both good and bad.

Panchos was guaranteed diarrhea, but their Mexican flag system was revolutionary.

Pancho’s, silver moon, Mr Gatti’s, so many cheap places to eat back in the early 90’s. Throw in .25 draft and dollar calls at Murphy’s and dollar juice drinks at Fred’s, was an awesome time. Of course we needed it with the football team being terrible.

Silver Moon….the first place that a chicken foot was served in my red beans.
Panchos on Nicholson was the best way to kill an hour to stay on topic of OP.

There's one in Mesquite and one in Fort Worth. I went to the one in Mesquite for childhood nostalgia (grew up right next to the one on Johnston St) and it was disgusting.

Yes it’s still around. And when was it ever good?
