Is the white soled dress shoe fad past its peak?

I have a couple of pair but it's getting to the point were it seems everyone has them.
Probably just going to go back to the traditional brown leather wing tips.

I didn't realize it was a fad.

It needs to die. It’s not a good look.

These never go out of style

It's fine for what I will call causal business attire (engineering for example). Not a good look for legit business attire where a suit is the everyday outfit (lawyer, accountant, etc).

White soles?
I consider myself a fairly well dressed guy, and I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about.

I assume this is the type of shoe in question

JBE wears these all the time and he looks like a fricking retard. Like he's trying to look like he works at ESPN

Yeah I don't get it. Wish there were more options for gumsole leather shoes.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone wearing dress shoes like those pictures. Y’all need to stop hanging out at the “men’s club” for lunch.

The no heel option on oxford is worse than the white sole.

I'm more geeky than dorky. Don't confuse the two.

When people have something fashionable in Lousiana the fad is already done and dusted.
Rubber-soled dress shoes are one thing but the white wedges shown above have always been an abomination. It is one thing for a 20 something to wear them and quite another for a 30+ year old wearing them in a professional setting.

Two threads on this topic in one day? If you own them and like them... wear them.
